So much for an original blog name...

Hi all! HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of my loved ones - hope u all enjoyed some celebatory drinkies on New Years Eve like I did!

So, today, as I was preparing to send out my blog link by email to everyone, I had not kept it in my favourites at work, and I decide to search for the quiet storm on Blogger and I see that there are quite a few blogs out there with this name - I was so disappointed, thinking I had actually racked my brain enough to come up with something original (my saving grace is the 'e' at the end, for a little twist, reminiscent of adding 'e's in French alot!)...I had steered away from Annie Ruok & Janie Gunn, because surprisingly my 2 most used nicknames are all over Blogger and the Internet in general as well!

So, my conclusion for the day is there is no way you can think up anything original for Internet use (I must quote a line from Chasing Amy: "The world would be a better place if people would just accept that there's nothing new under the sun, and everything you can do with a person has probably been done long before you got there." - not exactly the same context, but you get the picture!
